Are you installing multi-zone audio or video systems for residential
or commercial applications? Then take a look at our Lattis family of matrix
switchers, which feature up to twenty-four input sources, and up to sixteen output zones
(expandable to 255 total zones).
Available in audio, video, or audio/video configurations, any source input
can be switched to one or more of the output zones. The switchers are controlled
using RS-232/ethernet and/or infrared connections, and systems easily expand up to
24 sources by 255 zones on a single serial port (or 90 zones using IR).
Note that any combination of Lattis switcher models may be used together --
separate commands route audio/video together, or breakaway audio-only or video-only switching.
A flexible RS-232/ethernet protocol allows complete control, using an
ascii command/message language as defined in the Lattis Manual.
The real-time RS-232 status messages, generated from both
RS-232 and infrared commands, provide for a "closed-loop" system design.
To expand the number of zones, or to control multiple switchers in various combinations,
the units are daisy-chained. Modular RS-232/IR daisy-chain cables connect multiple
Lattis switchers so your control system plugs into only one RS-232 and/or IR port, for control of
contiguous zones (up to 255).
For stereo audio sources, an optional ribbon-cable expansion option keeps multi-switcher cabling to a minimum.
On composite video switchers, the video inputs each have a buffered output, allowing looping to
additional switchers without needing a video distribution amp.
